How close can you live to nature without changing your postcode? In Vilnius, the second largest city in the Baltic states, there is a loft that reconciles city life with tranquillity. Walls and custom elements in Master Oak all bring the nearby national park indoors. Here, biophilic design is not a concept, but a feeling.
An interior that momentarily puts the city on mute: is that possible in an international city like Vilnius? Absolutely. On the top floor of the residential project Miško Ardai, Studio Archispektras created a penthouse that brings the peace and calm of nature inside without leaving the city. The warm wood texture of Master Oak light natural reflects the forest glimpsed through the windows. Every grain, every depth of the surface captures a piece of the landscape.
How to quickly set up a temporary office that won’t end up in the skip afterwards? Lantis found the answer with JUUNOO, who uses our Clicwall as the basis for their reusable modular walls. A smart solution that meets both deadlines and future needs.
Setting up temporary offices isn’t done in a flash. Or is it? Thanks to the combination of JUUNOO metal studs and our Clicwall panels, the workspaces at Lantis were up in no time. “Clicwall’s high construction speed makes the process extremely cost-efficient,” says Stijn De Sutter, Commercial Manager Europe at JUUNOO. At the same time, Clicwall offers a wide range of designs so the look can be fully custom-tailored as well. Lantis went for a fresh colour combination of Silver blue, Roasted brown and Industrial green.
Tucked away among dramatic peaks and endless sea views, the Lyngvær Resort brings a fresh take on luxury escapes in Norway’s Lofoten islands. Built by the Estonian company Timbeco, these modular lodges prove that premium materials and prefab construction are a perfect match.
What if the premium feel of a Lufthansa flight didn’t begin on board, but already at the gate? That’s precisely the idea behind the airline’s new lounge at Newark Liberty International Airport in New York. Step inside the 600 m² space and you’ll be welcomed by warm oak tones, soft lighting and a streamlined layout—that brings the elegance of their aircraft interiors to the ground.
At the heart of the new look? Our bestseller Unilin Master Oak Light Natural. Used throughout the lounge, the material adds a calming, natural touch to the busy airport environment. It looks and feels exactly like oak veneer, but comes with extra’s: better scratch resistance, easy maintenance and a more budget-friendly alternative to veneer or solid wood.
Why choose between the allure of tradition and the practicality of modern design when you can have both? In Mohawk’s 10,000 sq. ft. Chicago showroom, located in the heart of Fulton Market — the future of the design community — Master Oak proves there’s no need to compromise.
Crafted into sleek cabinetry, it pairs the natural beauty of rift white oak veneer with a surface that’s three times more scratch-resistant, durable, and easy to maintain.
Agristo believes in providing a stellar experience – and not just for its customers. The Belgian producer of frozen potato products keeps its employees firmly in mind, too. The company recently remodelled its locker room, turning it into a space where colleagues can chat and relax after an intense day at work.
For the total renovation of the Astoria hotel, the owners called in the help of architectural firm Project Vijf and mINT architecture. The beautiful art-deco hotel with its 65 rooms was completely restored to its former glory in just four months.
The interior was a challenge, since they wanted to continue the impressive grandeur of the outside to the inside, with attention to comfort and luxury in a contemporary jacket and with touches of the past, says Danny Hoorelbeke (Project Vijf).
In the corridors, partition walls have been placed with the Clicwall system in H265 V1A Dainty Oak café noir. This design has also been continued in the furnishing of the rooms. They combined the Dainty Oak design in the open cabinets with brass accents and black.
The interior of an unattended building open to the public needs to be able to take a knock or two. How do you keep it looking fresh as a daisy after many years of use? The interior architects at Planet Interior took this into consideration when they were designing Bancontact's CASH points. The answer they came up with was decorative MDF from Unilin Panels.
“We came across decorative MDF while the project was still in the development phase,” recounts Jan Baelus, founder of Planet Interior. "Ines Goeminne, Project advisor at Unilin Panels, pleasantly surprised us with a prototype of decorative Fibralux MR Black in Super Matt finish. Robust black MDF with a stylish look thanks to the transparent lacquer finish: it perfectly matched what we were looking for."
Seamlessly integrating contemporary architecture into a breath-taking setting: that was the ambition of interior designer Architecture49 when designing Charlevoix Chalets. The country retreat looks out onto Saint Lawrence Bay and is located in the heart of Quebec’s woodlands. The mountainous setting and the river inspired the designers to blend the region’s typical farmhouse style with modern minimalism.
For the interior, the designers selected rustic materials such as dark steel and concrete floors, alternated with spacious white areas. In this way, the interior reflects the tranquillity of the woodland surroundings. UNILIN Dainty Oak was an obvious choice. This decorative panelling matches the colour and texture of authentic oak and blends timeless design with sustainability.
Coming home to the office every day. Sounds good, right? At the new headquarters of construction company Van Wanrooij, Inbo Architect made this possible thanks to a large open space that reduces the distance between the different departments. The eye-catcher? The cabinet wall that runs over three floors and is finished with Master Oak Light Natural.
The new headquarters in Den Bosch had to retain the “Van Wanrooij feeling”. "So we were looking for a material that radiates heat but can also withstand impact. In addition, it had to be available quickly in large quantities and in HPL, melamine and edging tape," says Berry Boelens from B-M Interieurs. Master Oak turned out to be the perfect match!
Having a chat over a cup of coffee after shopping has never been as enjoyable as at Cora in Ermont. This supermarket in the small town north-west of Paris has created a homely ambience in its cafeteria that is both sustainable and easy to maintain.
La Maison Blanche’s interior designer Isabelle Lepers rejuvenated old tabletops with fresh colours from UNILIN’s Evola range: Sunshine, Fresh green, Goldfish orange, Exotic blue and Lime moon grey. Isabelle purposefully selected Unilin because our panelling is made of 100% recovered wood and is also very easy to maintain. In other words, a perfect example of upcycling – or how discarded objects can be given a new lease on life.
Unilin's Evola range offers natural-looking designs in addition to a wide range of bright, bold colours to spruce up your interior. Suitable as wall covering and furniture panels.
The Dutch architectural firms Dentons and Studio PROTOTYPE joined forces to transform DZAP, the world’s largest law firm. 6000 square metres of office space has been transformed into the ‘House of Dentons’: a brand-new workplace with a timeless character.
Studio PROTOTYPE opted for a broad spectrum of natural materials in different wood types, with a combination of real wood and the Unilin Evola collection. The decorative panels and wood structures of UNILIN Panels look and feel completely real. The designers consciously opted for Essential Oak Natural: the panels exude warmth and conviviality in a place where people work and receive clients.Fans of office-sharing and lovers of eclectic interiors have been visiting Dunden since the beginning of this year. This co-working space and tech start-up hub in the heart of Antwerp surprises visitors at a glance. Design studio PRSPCTF brought new life to the building with the Unilin Decorative Range.
“We went all out with bold colours and playful forms,” says Sven Stas, Creative Director and Founder at PRSPCTF. "This is how the toilet area sits in a terracotta-like Baked Brick jacket. A matt and glossy version of Brushed Alu alternates in the stands, bar and kitchen. Lychee leaves a fresh, fruity impression in the reception and kitchen. And to finish off the bar, we opted for black MDF finished with a transparent Super Matt varnish (0L100 SM1)."
All designs are available in melamine and HPL. "That colour matching offers endless possibilities. This allows us to extend the design of the washbasin furniture in melamine on the toilet doors with HPL in door size. What’s more, it’s also very handy in shared spaces: the materials are easy to maintain."
In the Eurofins lab in Nazareth, Clicwall is the order of the day. The AB Interieurs team installed over 1000 m² of Clicwall panels here.
“The Front White design from the Unilin Decorative Range allows us to remain loyal to the bright white, clinical lab vibe,” says Alain Buess, managing director of AB Interieurs. “But using Clicwall as the material is a revolutionary step. These panels can be installed up to five times faster than traditional wall coverings – always handy when you are working with such large volumes.”Looking for the ultimate proof that HPL for interior doors is the perfect choice for your next project? Even the masters of furniture making and interior design chose Unilin HPL for the interior of their new buildings.
“Originally, the idea was to go for solid oak, but when we saw Unilin’s Master Oak HPL, we were sold right away!” says Franck Souchet of Guitteny. The combination of an authentic matt look, high scratch resistance and durability was exactly what they were looking for.
The L'Heureux Séjour care home in Sprimont provides senior citizens with a cosy home in a green environment. For the newly finished wing, HPL was chosen for the kitchenettes in the assisted living units, the furniture in all the living areas, the risers in the corridors, and ... even the doors!
After a takeover in 2018, Hotel Corsendonk - Hooge Heyde was looking for a completely new identity. Operational manager Jan-Felix Nédée created a boutique hotel with elegant colour patterns for each room. His team gave a new look to 38 hotel rooms, the lobby, the restaurant, the events hall, the wellness area, and more! Master Oak played a leading role here.
When something seems too good to be true, it usually is. Except with Master Oak. As Fugazzi architect Tom Vanwynsberghe discovered during the design of the new shop layout of the House of Hairdressers. Master Oak not only combines the look but also the feel of solid oak but with the durable scratch resistance of melamine and HPL.
The new look of the busy hairdresser’s shop required a mix of naturalness – which is in keeping with the product range in the shop – and easy-care. "The swirling hairs are razor sharp and destroy everything", explains Tom. Sustainable melamine faced walls and shelving with a fresh and natural veneer look are therefore the perfect application in this project.

What can a few choice materials do for the allure of a hotel? Quite a bit, judging from a cursory glance at the renovated La Réserve in Knokke. This premium resort reinvented itself with a style that exudes both timeless class and contemporary luxury, courtesy of HPL, melamine and Clicwall in neutral yet elegant designs.
Every one of the hotel’s 108 bathrooms received a refined HPL finish in Romantic Oak light – a soft wood look that creates a wonderful sense of serenity. Ideal for the bathroom as HPL cleans easily and boasts maximum resistance against scuff marks, wear & tear and humidity. For the reception area, the wine cabinets and the restaurant, where Peter Goossens stirs the pots, a slightly darker hue was in order with elements in Master Oak brown. All but indistinguishable from real wood, this material contributes to the hotel’s warm and luxurious atmosphere.

A new office set-up that's as comforting as a kitten or puppy? A breeze for Master Oak and AAVO Architects. For Moderna - a manufacturer of plastic pet products - Master Oak’s natural wood look creates a gentle atmosphere in their new headquarters. From walls to cabinets and even the imposing staircase in the entrance hall, the look is warm and luxurious. While Master Oak Brown mainly decorates the office interior and dining area, the stately staircase in the entrance hall was created from black Master Oak. A durable and hard-wearing choice that perfectly matches the industrial materials in the hallway.
Create an inspiring, ultramodern space with a fantastic view of the Atomium and a nod to Expo 58. That was Buro Project’s mission for Moore, a fast-growing accountancy and consulting company, and they chose to accept it. The third floor of the Brussels Buro & Design building has been given a completely new look by their partner NDW.
Kathy absolutely wanted the boxes to have a wood-look finish for a warm, cosy atmosphere. “Initially, we wanted to use veneer but that turned out to be very expensive. So we went looking for a good alternative. When we saw at the samples from Unilin Panels in the office, we knew right away we’d found what we wanted.”
Kathy loves the way the decorative panels look from the Unilin Evola collection. “That applies to both the walnut brown (Lorenzo Walnut Medium Brown) and the variant based on Carrara marble (Carrara Creamy). We needed to sustain our look & feel, and these panels have certainly achieved that. We get a lot of positive reactions.”
A future-proof workplace that lives and breathes individuality – that’s how you could describe Unilin Flooring’s brand-new office in Wielsbeke, West Flanders. Under the motto of practise what you preach, the two office floors were consciously redesigned using the company’s own materials.
“For this project, we used a wide variety of products from the Unilin Decorative Range,” explains interior architect Hanne Seghers. “For example, we opted for Clicwall in various different shades: Oslo oak soft beige, Lorenzo walnut medium brown, Lime earth baked and Weave wool beige. In addition, with a view to the future, we installed modular wall systems in Front white, Elegant black and Silver blue. Flooring can easily replace them later to showcase new designs.”
Trying to attract the brightest minds of today and tomorrow? An absolute breeze for Lighthouse! How? With an office design with a real wow-factor, unlimited ambition and exceptional playfulness in which Master Oak plays the leading role. Thanks to its wide range of applications, with wall panels and shelving, table tops and edging tape, Master Oak forms a common – or oak – thread throughout this modern office design.
"We wanted to work with materials that are hot,", says Buro Project partner Jurgen Taeldeman, "and wood structures and light wood colours are very popular these days. Master Oak Natural fulfils this wish perfectly and at the same time will be able to withstand the future thanks to its scratch-resistance and colour fastness. Jurgen concludes: "Master Oak is really tough and will retain its solid wood appearancein the long term. Its wide range of possible applications makes Master Oak the go-to material for a fashionable, heavily-used office environment".
The right material in the right place? At Optiek Uniek in Tielt, they show how it's done. In their fresh, new store interior, a wood structure and HPL were combined to create practical ease of use and a warm shopping experience. In the store itself, Kortrijk-based interior designer Bossuyt Shop Interiors installed a neutral wooden design that allows the glasses to sparkle, while in the test room and workshop a highly hygienic and antibacterial environment was created using plain panels.
A smart approach that also runs through to the walls. Did you know that all Unilin Panels designs have a corresponding RAL and NCS colour so that walls or other elements of an interior can be painted to match? Optiek Uniek has a round wall in the same monochrome, dark green coat as the custom furniture in the test room and workshop.
For the interior fit-out of the Poste du Louvre offices, Unilin Panels partnered with CALQ, a French architectural office based in Paris, to weave a tapestry of style and functionality throughout the different spaces. The interior design theme leans towards warm colours that harmonise with the unique historic building with its imposing metal features. Our products were used in the cafeterias, meeting rooms, reception lounge, main reception area, auditorium, individual offices and the CEO’s office. To create a chic and cosy atmosphere, some strategic areas were fitted out in warm-coloured wood. Our Essential Oak natural, Lorenzo Walnut medium brown and Elegant black designs proved to be the perfect fit.
Yet, this project goes beyond beauty – it champions sustainability. The choice of materials naturally turned towards laminated and melamine coverings with low VOC content. Furthermore, the spaces meet numerous requirements in terms of maintenance and resistance to UV light. And to top it off, the employees’ wellbeing was also taken into account! Thanks to the antibacterial surfaces, the staff can work in a healthy office environment.
For their new interior design, software company Qelp, a SYKES company, envisioned a workplace reflecting their growth to the global leader in online self-service support. A close partnership between client Qelp, Solved projectmanagement, STUDIO THO interior design and Haklander Interieurbouw resulted in this great, effective open plan office having a direct impact on the overall happiness of the people working in it.
There is more collaboration and social interaction between teams and individuals. In addition, another goal is met by creating a work environment that is a major attraction for new talent. The hospitality area plays a key role in the overall office design. It provides a home to townhall meetings, team workshops, a welcome area for guests, and several corners for your coffee or informal meet-up.
Plus, it’s the perfect spot for Friday afternoon drinks. By kicking off the project with a workshop including Qelp representatives, people felt involved and ensured all their needs were taken into consideration. This way, the new workplace is a true co-creation of all parties involved.
At Zonnewende, not only the indoor & outdoor furniture is important, but also the customer's experience. The showroom reflects their focus on exclusive high-end brands. The walls, made of black core coloured MDF (Decorative-Fibralux MR Black) with Super Matt finish, provide a luxurious look throughout the entire shop.
Vertical grooves were milled into the decorative MDF panels, which creates a cool effect, doesn't it? Core coloured MDF offers many possibilities and easily lifts any interior project to a higher level.
Günter Laureyns and Katrien Eeckhout chose a timber frame construction for their home with showroom. This choice made perfect sense, given that their business, Laureyns Joinery, specialises in joinery and timber frame construction.
Brecht Pot (BRES architecten) drew up the implementation plans while Katrien and Günter were in charge of the design, preparation and execution of the work. They decided to use UNILIN Panels: the excellent airtightness of building boards such as Qualirack and Durelis were a deal-breaker. Other materials, such as I-Joists, were used for the spans of the flat roof, largely because they are lighter, more environmentally friendly and easier to incorporate than solid wood.
For the Paris showroom of WAW, a specialist in vinyl and parquet flooring, Belgian architect and designer Bjorn Verlinde truly gave free rein to his creativity. He transformed 300 square metres of office space into an inspiring headquarters.
Using mood boards, colour schemes and an elegant corporate identity by Stockholm Design Lab, he designed 8 offices, 2 meeting rooms and a showroom. In the showroom, which Bjorn himself constructed with a Belgian team, WAW's customers can consult hundreds of flooring samples.

The wallpaper, inspired by African landscapes, creates the illusion of actually being there, as does the 1,716 m² fire-retardant HPL in warm, earthy tones.
Time to head back to the 1960s, where the style of Mad Men reigns? It is not what you might expect when setting foot inside a software company – at least not at first – yet the new office of Synappse offers a subtle nod to the iconic retro style of days gone by. That is, with a modern twist: the interior consists of sleek furnishings made of innovative HPL and melamine-faced chipboards. In other words? Material that stands the test of time.

Art2Go wanted to strike a balance between corporate and fun. BoÎte created a new office in the beautiful setting of Gare Maritime in Brussels for Universal Music Belgium. It provides modern, fascinating office spaces with a link to the past.
What is the mission of the largest music company in Belgium? To help brands make their voice heard. The request was therefore to create a stimulating and inviting workplace for their employees and clients.
To reinvigorate the offices, but to retain the character of the historic building, the Unilin wood reproduction design Lorenzo Walnut medium brown with veneer structure was chosen. These dark furniture panels give the entire interior a luxurious appearance. The same decor appears everywhere. From the unusual arch shape, the planters and cabinets, to the walls. Even with integrated doors! These are in both HPL, melamine and edging tape. The interior is clean, but the decor chosen guarantees the creation of warmth with its authentic look and feel of real wood!

“Ten years ago we put our first project into action at Rodanar Pallets, an office complex,” recalls Anne Chantraine, Hahbo’s sales manager. “We needed a wall that was attractive, hardwearing and easy to look after,” Anne Chantraine explains. “And this wall also needed to be easy for our installers to assemble.” Clicwall was the perfect response to all these requirements. This all-in-one wall covering system is the result of Unilin’s years of experience with interior and construction projects.
