In-store feeling at the workplace with Master Oak

When you think of Kruidvat or ICI PARIS XL, you immediately think of a recognizable brand experience. Parent company AS Watson applied that same logic to their office in Renswoude. With Master Oak light natural in the kitchens and wardrobes, the interior feels just as familiar and inviting as a store visit.

The design team looked for a wood design that radiates warmth and gives the communal areas a homely character. “But real wood wasn’t a must,” says architect Anna Dolcetta of Ce. architects & designers: “With Master Oak we found an alternative that looks just as realistic. Thanks to the 3D texture and many colour nuances, the difference with oak or veneer is invisible.”

“Moreover, Master Oak is a more sustainable choice than wood,” Anna Dolcetta adds. The panels are made with wood that is 95% recycled and last extra long: they are scratch-resistant, colourfast, and resistant to intensive use.

Master Oak feels and looks like real wood but lasts much longer. The ideal combination for this project."
